Floor & Site Plans
Permits and Certifications
Drone permits or approvals may be required from CASA or landowners, based on your project's location. As this may increase time and costs, I will inform you in advance if any approvals are necessary.
CASA Remote Pilot Certified (RePL):
To operate professionally as a drone pilot in Australia, being RePL certified is important. RePL certification allows me to seek permission from CASA to fly in controlled airspace (5km), which is important in Darwin due to the closeness to the airport, industrial areas and restricted zones.
CASA Remote Operator Certified (ReOC):
ReOC certification allows me to apply for CASA approvals when operating near airports and conducting night flights (with permission) and to conduct commercial drone operations legally. Many clients require a ReOC to ensure compliance and professionalism including; Darwin Council, Darwin Waterfront and Darwin Airport Development Group.
‘White Card’ Certified:
General Construction Induction Card, ‘White Card’ certification is mandatory for anyone working on a construction site in Australia.
