Latest Blogs and News — insights into my life behind the lens.
I'm a Brisbane-based corporate, architectural and industrial photographer working with construction and engineering firms, architects, property developers, government agencies and corporate clients.
When I'm not shooting on-site or in the studio, you'll find me shooting urban environments, sports, and the marine life of the Indo-Pacific, where my work has appeared in publications including Scuba Diver, Alert Diver and My Nikon Life, and the Australian Centre for Photography.
International Women’s Day
I was engaged to cover an International Women's Day luncheon hosted by the United Nations Association of Australia, a seated event for close to 100 guests across a corporate and community audience, including a table of visiting high school students.
The brief called for full coverage across a live, moving event: table and room settings before doors opened, candid guest interaction throughout service, and stage moments as speakers addressed the room from the lectern. Working solo, I moved between wide room shots, tight food and table detail, and discreet candid portraits of guests in conversation — shifting constantly between documentary-style coverage and more considered, composed shots, without disrupting the flow of the event or the experience of the guests.
Encore 1788: Prestige Interiors in Sydney's Double Bay
I recently had the pleasure of returning to work with SJD Property — this time to photograph their latest development, Encore 1788, in Sydney's Double Bay.
Encore 1788 sits at 28-34 Cross Street, directly adjacent to SJD's acclaimed original 1788 building. Designed by Bates Smart and developed by SJD, the six-storey building delivers 15 luxury residences in one of Australia's most exclusive suburbs. It's the kind of project where every detail has been considered — and where the photography needs to do justice to the craftsmanship.
Shooting for Australian-owned IOR Fuels: Industrial Photography and Video
I recently had the pleasure of working with IOR Fuels — one of Australia's largest independent fuel suppliers — to produce photography and video content across two of their Brisbane facilities: the Lytton Terminal at the Port of Brisbane and the Yatala South diesel stop.
It was the kind of project I love: large-scale industrial infrastructure, dramatic lighting conditions, and a client who understands the value of quality visual content.
Newstead's Riverfront Transformation: A $2.5 Billion Story Unfolding on Skyring Terrace
Living and working in Newstead, I've had a front-row seat to one of Brisbane's most significant urban transformations. Within a few hundred metres of my home, two of Australia's most respected developers — Mirvac and Kokoda Property — are reshaping the riverfront with projects totalling more than $2.5 billion. As a commercial photographer who documents construction and development across Brisbane, it's a remarkable thing to witness this scale of change in my own backyard.
