I photograph architecture with an understanding of the built environment that comes from studying architecture early in my career. That background informs how I approach every shoot — from reading a building's design intent through to understanding how light, materials and spatial flow work together.
Based in Brisbane, I work with architects, developers, construction companies and interior designers to create imagery that showcases the quality and character of their projects.
From construction to completion
Many of my architectural projects begin well before the building is finished. Working with construction and development clients, I document the build from active construction through to practical completion — then shift into architectural photography to capture the final result.
This continuity means I understand the project's story before I photograph the finished building, which shows in the final images. For clients who need both, my construction photography and architectural work sit naturally together.
Understanding your brief
The purpose of an architectural image differs depending on who it's for. An architect may want to showcase design intent and how the building sits within its context. A developer may need imagery that sells a lifestyle or location. A construction company may want to document the finished product of a build they've delivered.
