Intended Audience: Beginners with little to no experience in photography.

Duration: 1 Day (9:30 AM - 4 PM)

Workshop Objectives:

  • Understand the basics of photography and camera operation

  • Learn how to compose and expose well-balanced images

  • Gain hands-on experience with different camera settings

  • Develop confidence in using a camera outside of Auto mode

Morning Session: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

1. Welcome (9:30 AM - 9:45 AM)

  • Overview of the day’s schedule

2. Understanding Photography Basics (9:45 AM - 10:15 AM)

  • Explanation of key concepts: Exposure, ISO, Aperture

  • Introduction to different types of cameras and lenses

3. Composition Techniques (10:15 AM - 10:45 AM)

  • Rule of thirds, leading lines, framing

  • Importance of light and shadows in composition

4. Practical Demonstration (10:45 AM - 11:15 AM)

  • Hands-on demonstration with a camera

  • Capturing images based on discussed concepts

5. Group Practice Session (11:15 AM - 11:45 AM)

  • Participants practice photography with peers

  • Focus on applying photographic techniques

6. Review of Morning Work (11:45 AM - 12:00 PM)

  • Sharing selected photographs with the group
